Moxy Mumbai Andheri West

Stayed at Moxy Mumbai...recently and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel has a modern and vibrant vibe, with stylish interiors and a lively atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were friendly and always ready to help, making the stay smooth and hassle free. The location is also convenient for getting around Mumbai. Overall, a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. Would happily stay here again.

The hotel has a youthful, energetic vibe and not a quiet lobby. There's a lot of movie entertainment related artwork in the hotel lobby and in the restaurant. The check-in counter is unique and does not look like one when you enter. If you are looking for a quiet luxury feel hotel then this is not the one. The Moxy Kitchen serves a buffet spread. It's not large but has the regular Indian, Continental, Chat, Salads, Cheese platter and Sweets. The waiting staff is polite and welcoming. Tino was warm and took care of us. She was forthcoming, asked about our experience and made sure we were comfortable.

Overall it’s a good hotel with very friendly and motivated staff. Worthy of pride. For a short stay I might give it 5-stars. For longer stays, a few small things could perfect the experience - but most of my suggestions relate to corporate decisions, not staff. I really appreciate the great professional attitude of the staff!Pros:-Cleanliness.-Nice rooftop pool area.-Large wall-mounted smart TV, comfy bed with plenty of pillows, safe, drink fridge.-Staff is quick to respond to and address issues. (My TV screen had issues, and they replaced the TV while I was out for the day).-Nice showers.-Restaurant food is good and room service is prompt.-The gate and door staff are a joy and helpful when I’m getting food delivered.-Walkable to infinity mall, which has a grocery store and fast food. Other good restaurants and some electronics shops in walking distance.-AC is controlled with a wall panel and operates more like a house (no exposed AC unit).-If there is an inconvenience to a client (a broken device or a poor interaction) the hotel is quick to rectify and make it right, and sometimes offer a little token of appreciation.Cons:-You only get one laundry form in the room, so when staff picks up or returns laundry they should supply another form. This would avoid confusion or loss of laundry if any more laundry was submitted without the proper form.-You are supplied with a do-not-disturb sign. However, many modern hotels have two systems: one system for letting the staff know whether they want the room cleaned and sheets changed, and a different system for letting staff know not to disturb them. That is a more eco-friendly and efficient approach. Because I don’t need my sheets and towels changed every single day, but I do want the staff to feel free to drop off laundry, knock on my door for food delivery etc. Unfortunately I only have the do-not-disturb sign for everything. There should be a separate sign that indicates ’you can disturb, but I don’t need cleaning / towels / sheets changed.’ As it is, I have to spend time explaining that situation when I need something delivered to the room.-Nearly all my interactions were great and professional. Only one room service experience was disappointing - the staff member was new and is still learning hospitality. While other staff were kind enough to hand off food at the door and respect the sanctity of my room, the new staff member entered my room as soon as I opened the door. I tried to stop him as the room was a mess of computers, cables, clothes being organized, etc.. Since he already entered the room I asked him to just put the tray in the bathroom near the entrance since it was clear and had room. But he said ’no’ and hurried across the room stepping over cables, and moving things to clear a surface. At this point I’m still at the door and he’s deep into my room, and I’m a bit taken aback. (Luckily I didn’t have a wife laying in bed or anything like that.)Due to a language barrier I couldn’t pay with the method I previously used - tapping my phone against his payment device using a digitized credit card. He insisted I use ’UPI,’ something I’m not familiar with that is popular in India. In the end I cancelled the order. The hotel was very apologetic about the misunderstanding and ended up sending the meal back to my room gratis with a small entourage of very polite staff that dropped it off at the door.- For me personally, I wish some rooms had a good workspace setup: desk & office chair. Some people are staying here while tending to business or even working on Bollywood films. The rooms with two twin beds have a little desktop that folds down from the wall but it’s not really ideal for a day of working at the computer. But this is more of a brand and design issue, as the hotel is designed around comfort and a trendy boutique motif - it’s not a hotel designed around in-room productivity.- The two elevators can be a bit slow.Neutral - WiFi is solid. Not impressive speeds, but works for most needs.

It is my second time in this wonderful hotel.The hotel has a great vibe with wonderful decor and young atmosphere.I really like the cocktails and help of the staff.They are all really amazing here.I will definitely come back next time im in Mumbai.I love ’’ this place
