We recently stayed for a few days at Ramgarh Lodge, and it provided the peaceful retreat we desired. Located just an hour from Jaipur, the lodge feels like a world away from the city, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning mountain scenery. One standout feature is how well the lodge is kept. Built in the 1920s, it retains a timeless elegance and is impressively preserved, blending heritage charm with modern amenities. The hospitality was outstanding. The staff consistently went the extra mile to ensure our comfort, always welcoming us with friendly smiles and attentive service. The food was another highlight. Offering a broad range of Indian and continental dishes, every meal was tasty. We especially enjoyed the traditional thali, which showcased local flavors beautifully. There are many activities available on the property. Guests can take long walks, ride bikes, try painting, play chess by the pool, or simply unwind in the tranquil environment. The swimming pool is large, attractive, and surrounded by breathtaking views. We also appreciated the farm-to-table concept. Some vegetables are grown on-site, and the presence of chickens and geese adds to the lodge’s charming rural atmosphere. In summary, Ramgarh Lodge is a wonderful spot for those wanting to escape Jaipur’s busy pace and connect with nature. With its gorgeous location, excellent cuisine, warm service, and variety of activities, it made for a truly memorable visit. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and luxurious getaway.

A truly tranquil and private luxury getaway. The property is flawlessly kept — spotless rooms, fresh linens, and towels with a delightful scent. Every member of the housekeeping staff deserves praise for upholding such excellent standards. The cuisine was outstanding throughout our visit. Chef HemRaj clearly takes pride in his creations, gladly customizing dishes and cooking everything perfectly. The khad chicken was exceptional, as were the baked vegetables. Special thanks to Niranjan, whose extensive experience is evident in his thoughtful suggestions — including a tasty salli-style snack paired with wine. The hospitality here feels sincere and warm. Sandeep always has a smile, Mool Singh serves with kindness and attention, Gendi Lal is very attentive, Ronit makes check-in smooth and welcoming, and Ritu manages the entire operation with grace and positivity. The pool is small but ideally located, especially beautiful at sunset. The property is peaceful and serene, filled with birdsong all day — from Brahminy starlings to pied ones, kingfishers, tree pies, Mynahs, and bee eaters. Mornings are relaxed, breakfasts are generous, rooms are spacious with many charging points. The wifi and regular Airtel internet are fast enough for video calls. There are thoughtful amenities everywhere: paddle games, chess, table tennis, and a charming lounge bar that makes evenings particularly pleasant. Even in June, the shade from trees and natural breeze keep the property cool and comfortable. Monkeys are kept away by an electric fence — though pigeons still try their luck! Overall, a place that leaves a lasting impression long after you depart.
