Ranga Maalika - The Heritage Spiritual Retreat

This was my sixth trip to Trivandrum, but unfortunately the worst stay. I reserved a single room at Ranga Maalika Heritage Residency for three days during a business trip. When my family joined me, I asked about a double room but was told none were available, so I had to book another hotel for them. After my family checked out from their hotel, they left their luggage in my room and went to a temple while I was working. Then Mr. Binoj Manikandan called me and started yelling in a very rude and disrespectful way, accusing me of breaking rules. I explained that my family only left their luggage temporarily and asked him to check the CCTV footage. Instead of listening, he kept harassing me on the phone while I was in an important meeting with ISRO scientists. Due to this harassment, I immediately checked out and booked another hotel for the rest of my stay. I came to experience the true Kerala, but this hotel made it a very bad experience. Additionally, they don’t even provide basic things like bottled drinking water. Such rude and unprofessional staff will harm the business. I strongly urge management to remove Mr. Binoj Manikandan and hire staff who treat customers with respect. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Residing in a place steeped in history feels like a true luxury and gives you a sense of being royal.

I had a extremely negative experience with this property. I had booked this in Cleartrip and clearly mentioned the check-in time was 12.00. But the manager denied by saying checkin is at 1:30 . Asking me to wait for 1:30 hrs . The justification was the board he hung at his table saying checkin is 1:30 . Google ,Cleartrip , Goibibo and many others show checkin time as 12. The manager doesn't have a common sense of getting data updated at the sites. I didn't like the behaviour and speaking of the manager as well.

My experience with this property was very disappointing. I booked through Cleartrip and clearly saw the check-in time as 12:00, but the manager insisted that check-in was at 1:30 and asked me to wait until then. His only reason was a sign on his desk stating check-in is at 1:30. However, Google, Cleartrip, Goibibo, and other platforms all list the check-in time as 12:00. The manager seemed unaware or unconcerned about updating this information on those sites. I was unhappy with both his attitude and the way he spoke to me.

Ok Type Rooms, not maintained poorly cleaned, basic amenities missing, no service available... breakfast is not that great... for the price we paid we dint even get services for 2 star hotel...only great thing about this place is its location just 200 meters from Padmanadha Swamy Temple ....
