Ranga Maalika - The Heritage Spiritual Retreat

Great location and rooms, pleasant atmosphere, and everything is within walking distance, giving a heritage vibe. The only area for improvement is to offer more variety in the breakfast options.

Worst stay experience ’ rude staff and no basic facilitiesThis was my 6th visit to Trivandrum, and unfortunately my worst. I booked a single room at Ranga Maalika Heritage Residency for three days during a business trip. Later, when my family joined me, I enquired about a double room but was told none were available. I had to book another hotel for them.When my family checked out of their hotel, they placed their luggage in my room and went for temple darshan while I was at work. Mr. Binoj Manikandan then called me and started shouting in a very arrogant and disrespectful manner, accusing me of violating rules. I explained clearly that my family only kept their luggage temporarily and asked him to check the CCTV footage. Instead of listening, he continued harassing me over the phone while I was in an important meeting with ISRO scientists.Because of this harassment, I immediately checked out from this hotel and booked another property for the rest of my stay. I had come to explore the authenticity of Kerala, but this hotel made it a very bad experience. On top of that, they don’t even provide basic needs like drinking water bottles.Such rude and unprofessional staff will ruin the business of the property owner. I strongly suggest the management remove Mr. Binoj Manikandan and employ staff who can treat customers with respect. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Due to this harassment, I immediately checked out and booked another hotel for the rest of my stay. I came to experience the true Kerala, but this hotel made it a very bad experience. Additionally, they don’t even provide basic things like bottled drinking water. Such rude and unprofessional staff will harm the business. I strongly urge management to remove Mr. Binoj Manikandan and hire staff who treat customers with respect. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Residing in a place steeped in history feels like a true luxury and gives you a sense of being royal.

I had a extremely negative experience with this property. I had booked this in Cleartrip and clearly mentioned the check-in time was 12.00. But the manager denied by saying checkin is at 1:30 . Asking me to wait for 1:30 hrs . The justification was the board he hung at his table saying checkin is 1:30 . Google ,Cleartrip , Goibibo and many others show checkin time as 12. The manager doesn't have a common sense of getting data updated at the sites. I didn't like the behaviour and speaking of the manager as well.
