Rio Grande Residency

I recently stayed at Hotel Rio Grand, and unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing.The primary concern was the poor cleanliness of the washrooms. Despite raising the issue multiple times (at least eight complaints), the problem was not properly addressed. The washrooms remained unhygienic, which is unacceptable for any hotel.Additionally, there was a continuous and unnecessary loud machine-like noise in the room that caused significant disturbance and made it difficult to rest comfortably. Even after informing the staff repeatedly, no effective action was taken to resolve the issue.I also found the staff’s responses to be unsatisfactory, as assurances were given but no meaningful solution was provided.Based on my experience, I would advise prospective guests to carefully review feedback before booking. I sincerely hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works toward improving their service standards.Additionally, the taps provided in the washroom appeared to be plastic, had an unpleasant odor, and felt substandard in quality.

I booked this room for my family members, but the experience was very disappointing. The AC was not working properly and the lights were also not functioning correctly. There was no electricity in our room in night for around 3 hours.Only our room had this electricity issue. When we finally managed to contact someone, they simply switched on the board for our room, which clearly shows the issue was ignored earlier. We tried calling many times, but they did not pick up a single call. We went to the reception counter 3 times, yet no proper action was taken.Also, the staff did not understand English and there was no translator available, which made communication very difficult.Very poor service and management. Not recommended at all.

Rio Grande Hotel was very accommodating to my family. I requested to book 20 rooms for my family who are traveling from Salem and Chennai, and we were able to book the rooms conveniently. The rooms were clean and the breakfast food was very great. They had iddiyapam, pongal, idly, and dosas. I worked with Vincent and he was very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend the hotel for their outstanding services.

First the good, is the location and price. But on the other hand the room is small and cockroach invested. The toilet is 4'x5' and the basin placed outside, and very badly run down Place. The room lights keep flickering and free breakfast is just ok. Better to avoid if your budget allows you to do.

The hotel was very ok, it was unhyganic and service was very slow for single water bottle we have to wait for half and hour. Hotel bed and bed sheet was unhyganic and not cleaned. In mid night our childrens was suffering with bed bugs bite which was very distrubing and couldn't slept whole night. Food was ok not very great. Even I complained to my travel agent (master tour and travels pune ) that they must check guest safety and comfort first and avoid such average hotels in future where customers trip get ruined due to lack of such bad services.
