Savera Hotel Next to US Consulate

The hotel seems a little dated, and there was a leak from the ceiling in my room, possibly from the AC unit. Yasmine was very helpful and courteous throughout my stay.However, I felt that the staff assisting guests with luggage and room access were more attentive to certain guests, while others were often left waiting. The food was good and enjoyable.Overall, while there were some positive aspects, the experience did not meet my expectations, and I would not choose this hotel again for a future stay.

The hotel is relatively old, I used to stay here during early 2000s when I had to be in Chennai for weeks in a row. The Piano bar cafe was the place for breakfast and dinners. Still is.Malgudi is my favourite restaurant in the hotel, they still serve authentic as southern cuisines. But the rooms need better maintaining, and I found no laundry bags, only the very basics, so that needs improvement.The pool is still very nice though.

This affordable hotel is located in a good area with various bars and restaurants nearby.While it has old-world charm, some parts show their age, such as the room doors, bathroom fixtures and furnishings. However, it retains the charm and glory of the past.There is a wide selection at breakfast, although it can be a little crowded and the service is not the best.

Such a nice place. The rooms are truly beautiful and well kept, the neighborhood is super convenient, and the staff takes impeccable care of guests. My favorite part was the breakfast!!! Truly exceptional. We enjoyed made to order dosa, excellent chutneys and curries, and many cups of expertly crafted coffee and tea. I would stay here every day if I could. Will be returning as soon as possible.

A hotel which is blessed by its location. Its around 30-40mins from the airport. The service is great in the reception. Even though we reached at around 2am, the quality of the service was maintained just as one will do during the day.The rooms are spacious and nicely maintained. The housekeeping does a great job. Thw amenities are like most of the hotels. Pool, gym, 2 nice restaurants along with a cafe in its premises. Didnt order room service, hence cannot comment. Morning breakfast is something I really liked.Its a place of choice for events by many as was evident during my stay during the weekend be it wedding or symposium.I usually choose this hotel whenever I am in Chennai.They have privilege card if one is interested.
