One of the best customer service experiences I have ever had was at The Westin Mumbai Garden City.This review is long overdue, but I finally wanted to put this on record. In October 2024, I traveled to Mumbai for an important meeting and had booked my stay at the hotel. Unfortunately, due to poor health, I started feeling extremely unwell right after landing in Mumbai and had to head straight to the hotel.The team was incredibly supportive from the very beginning. They arranged an early check-in without hesitation and immediately helped organize a doctor for medical assistance. The level of care, responsiveness, and genuine concern shown by the staff was truly exceptional.The hospitality extended to me during my stay was remarkable, and they ensured I was comfortable and well taken care of until the time of my check-out.I would especially like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Ms.Chandni Malhotra and Ms.Teyasha Kundu for their kindness, professionalism, and personal attention during a very difficult moment. Their support made a significant difference, and I am truly grateful.Thank you once again for setting such a high standard in hospitality.

A trip that we thought would be a let down turned into a fantastic end to our holiday!We stayed at the Westin at the end of a 2 week long trip with our baby who was visiting India for the first time - understandably my husband and I were both exhausted and needed some down time. We booked the Westin as we wanted a pool staycation and a little bit of rest. A day before our trip, we called to ask about early check in and when I asked if the pool was heated we were informed it was closed for maintenance. This information was not made available on the website or booking page, and my husband called repeatedly to ask for some form of compensation - feedback on this is that it was very hard to communicate or find someone to talk to.However, when we got there, Chandni had upgraded us to the hotel’s Suite. And oh, my, god. IT WAS HUGE. It was stunning, and had the perfect amenities and was so well taken care of. They also decorated it beautifully for our baby boy. We were always taken care of, and felt so special our whole trip there. Everyone from front of house to room service to cleaners greeted us with a smile and top level service. The hotel itself was gorgeous and the breakfast was great. I also had the best massage of my life.Location wise this is on the highway, so despite being on a high floor we could hear a lot of sounds, but that is a given. It was very close to Oberon Mall and we got to the airport within 20 mins.We will definitely be returning, though our budget might not avail us the suite - but we can’t wait to come back.

It's a beautiful hotel very close to many facilities in Mumbai. Great extensive breakfast and food. The service is great and thee staff is absolutely fabulous. They're taking care of us. We have stayed here twice for a long period and enjoyed our stay both times. A mall is nearby in case someone needs something...

Review ’ The Westin Garden City MumbaiMy stay at The Westin Garden City, Mumbai was overall pleasant and comfortable. The property has a very positive atmosphere with a calm, refined ambience that aligns well with the Westin brand. The hotel is well-maintained, elegant, and offers a reassuring sense of quality and professionalism.The staff were courteous, polite, and supportive, and their service was mostly as per expectations. From arrival to departure, interactions with the team were smooth and respectful, contributing positively to the overall experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-organized, making the stay relaxing. Common areas and dining spaces were also well-kept and inviting.Suggestion for improvement:One area that needs attention is the lift/elevator system. As the property is a high-rise with around 32 floors (with office floors and hotel floors), the waiting time for lifts can be quite long, especially in the lobby. At times, the wait becomes uncomfortable and slightly embarrassing for guests standing for extended periods.Additionally, the lift display system on upper floors only shows arrows for upward or downward movement, without clearly indicating the current floor position of the lift. This makes it difficult to estimate how much time it will take for the lift to arrive or to go downstairs. A floor-wise display showing the exact location of the lift would greatly improve clarity and guest comfort.It is suggested that the management consider adding more lifts or improving the lift display system’especially for upper floors’so guests can clearly see which floor the lift is on in real time.Apart from this point, the experience was positive and satisfying.
