Hotel Metropark - Vadapalani

I had booked a Triple Bed Room specifically for more space since three of us needed to stay together. However, the hotel allowed the previous guest in that triple room to extend their stay without informing me. My check-in time was at 2 PM, and the previous guest, who should have checked out earlier, was given an extension. The hotel never asked my permission or even informed me before extending the other guest’s stay.When I called the hotel at 3 PM to inform them I’d check in only by 10 PM, they told me the Triple Room had an AC problem and that they would allocate a Double Room plus a Single Room instead. I believed them at that time. But later, I was informed by another shift staff that there was no AC problem; instead, the previous guest had simply been allowed to extend their stay.Why did they lie to me? The hotel should have confirmed with me before giving my booked room to someone else, especially since I booked it two days in advance. I really don’t understand how they could do this.

I believed them, but later another staff member said the room had no issue and had simply been extended. The Double and Single Rooms they gave me were extremely bad’very, very worst. There was dirt in places, the bed sheet was missing on one bed, and mirrors were dirty. I will never recommend this hotel. Do not stay here!

I trusted this explanation, but later another staff member said the room was fine and had just been extended. The Double and Single Rooms provided were terrible—very dirty in spots, one bed had no sheet, and the mirrors were filthy. I will never recommend this hotel. Avoid staying here!
