Critique of Legrace Beachview Resort StayInitial Room and Check-in Issues• We encountered a highly unsatisfactory experience during our recent stay at Legrace Beachview Resort in Thiruvidanthai, ECR.• Upon our arrival at 1 PM, an hour after the designated 12 PM check-in time, our assigned room was found to be unacceptably dirty and malodorous.• Essential toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap were not provided.• We were only able to access our room after 2 PM, following a cleaning process, which resulted in a significant delay and a loss of one hour from our scheduled stay.Persistent Service Failures and Amenities• Within an hour of check-in, we experienced a power outage, and despite our attempts, we were unable to establish contact with any resort personnel for over an hour.• This issue reoccurred multiple times throughout the night, with power interruptions lasting over two hours on more than four occasions.• This significantly impacted our comfort and overall satisfaction.• The customer service in addressing these issues was notably deficient.• Furthermore, the water supply was abruptly discontinued.• The bed linens provided were not adequately clean.• When inquiring about the power outage, a staff member on the ground floor informed us that the generator was inoperable due to a lack of diesel.Supporting Documentation• For your reference, photographic evidence of these issues is attached.
