मैंने ऑफिस के काम के लिए अगोडा (Agoda) से भोपाल के हबीबगंज में 'होटल शीशम ट्री' बुक किया था। मेरा अनुभव बहुत ही खराब रहा, और मैं साफ़ कहना चाहूँगा कि धोखेबाज़ अगोडा है!बुकिंग करते समय मैंने साफ़ रिक्वेस्ट डाली थी कि मुझे सुबह जल्दी कमरा (early check-in) और कार पार्किंग चाहिए। अगोडा ने बिना कुछ कहे बुकिंग ले ली। लेकिन जैसे ही मेरे पैसे कट गए (जो कि नॉन-रिफंडेबल थे यानी वापस नहीं मिलने वाले थे), अगोडा ने कन्फर्मेशन ईमेल में चालाकी से लिख दिया कि यह सब "कमरे खाली होने पर ही मिलेगा" (Subject to availability)। यह अगोडा का बहुत बड़ा धोखा है! ग्राहकों को फंसाने और उनका पैसा काटने से पहले यह बात साफ-साफ बतानी चाहिए थी।मैंने दो दिन पहले बुकिंग की थी, लेकिन इन दो दिनों में अगोडा ने मुझे कोई जानकारी नहीं दी कि मुझे सुबह कमरा या पार्किंग नहीं मिल पाएगी।जब मैं सुबह 8:30 बजे होटल पहुंचा, तो वहां के स्टाफ ने मुझे कमरा देने से साफ़ मना कर दिया। होटल वालों ने मेरी परेशानी बिल्कुल नहीं समझी। सबसे बुरी बात यह थी कि उस समय होटल में कमरे खाली (available) थे, फिर भी उन्होंने मुझे चेक-इन नहीं करने दिया। उन्होंने बस मुझे बुकिंग कैंसिल करने और कोई दूसरा होटल बुक करने की सलाह दे दी।मैं ऑफिस के काम से अक्सर इस इलाके में आता हूँ और पास के राजहंस, दिविक और एलएन प्रॉपर्टीज (LN Properties) में रुक चुका हूँ। वे लोग हमेशा ऑफिस वालों को जल्दी चेक-इन दे देते हैं और ग्राहकों की परेशानी को समझते हैं।अगोडा के इस धोखे और होटल के इस रवैये की वजह से मुझे बहुत परेशानी हुई और मेरा पैसा भी डूब गया। अगर आप काम के सिलसिले में जा रहे हैं, तो अगोडा के झांसे में न आएं, वरना आपको भी ऐन मौके पर कमरा नहीं मिलेगा और आपका पैसा भी बेकार जाएगा।
