MDLR Airlines is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Gurgaon-based MDLR Group. The airline is using 70- and 100-seater Avro RJ aircraft dry-leased from British Aerospace. With fares starting from Rs 1,000, it plans to extend its sevices to Ranchi and Kolkata in the next 15 to 20 days and later to Mumbai, Surat, Jaipur and Bhavnagar. During the second phase, it aims to enter cities like Mumbai, Goa, Surat and Bhavnagar. It currently operates with two 70-seater aircraft leased from British Aerospace. The two BAe AVRO RJ jets. MDLR is India's first regional airline with 4-engine jets, and also India's first vegetarian airline. The MDLR Group has over the years expanded their activities from real estate development to high value construction areas and aviation.
