Hotel Gulmarg Regency

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The staff was extremely rude, unprofessional, and carried a very negative attitude throughout my stay. The room I was given was underground, suffocating, and badly congested, making it very uncomfortable. To make things worse, the toilet was in terrible condition and clearly not maintained properly and firstly they say less price but when my family went to room they increased the price by 500. Overall, this place was unhygienic, unpleasant, and not worth the money. I would definitely not recommend staying here to anyone.

The hotel location is so good, it's almost near the Ridge, yet still away from the chaos. Whenever I visit Shimla, I always stay here. During peak seasons, they increase the prices, but it's still reasonable. The rooms range from average to the best categories. Even the lower-end rooms are built with good interiors, so you can stay comfortably. The only thing I found odd was that they don't provide white bedsheets, and the blankets seemed a little dirty.

I stayed in ground floor. Probably 4th from Right side of lift ..a 4 bedded room. Blankets curtains were filthy.. wardrobes were in unusable state. No exhaust in toilets. Unpleasant smell retained inside room always. Location is excellent close to mall. Nice property.

The hotel is a go to option for group tour operators. It has 100+ rooms and is located very close to the Shimla Mall. It has a cooking and dining hall for large groups. The rooms don't have any windows (most of them) which feels odd although the size could be adequate.

I recently stayed at here and was thoroughly disappointed. The room was very small, unclean and had a strange odor. All the rooms were in underground with no windows, making it feel like a dungeon. The lack of natural light and ventilation was really disappointing.More importantly the bedding including blankets were dirty, which was a major letdown. Unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. The staff seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. The hotel's amenities were also not as promised. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
