I did a staycation here with my husband. Honestly we live in Mumbai, and we just wanted a getaway for out anniversary.I’m always that customer who has some notes, no matter which hotel I stay in but I had zero complaints with this hotel.We stayed in their sea view room. It was speactacular. It’s mostly sound proof, so you’re not annoyed with the traffic noise.Their rooms are super comfortable, water pressure and shower is perfectly warm. I love how they pancake their drinking water.Their rooftop restaurant is pretty. They’ve really maintained the architectural integrity of an art deco building. And their TV and most channels.

The overall cleanliness of the property stands out, and despite its prime location, the hotel remains surprisingly quiet at night, making the stay very relaxing. It is suitable for both solo travelers and families.The staff deserve special appreciation. From security and reception to housekeeping and restaurant teams, everyone is polite, friendly, attentive, and professional. Service throughout the stay was smooth and efficient. The hotel staff were also very cooperative and understanding in special situations, which reflects their high service standards.Food quality is generally very good. The breakfast spread is tasty and satisfying, and the Indian food is especially impressive with rich flavors and good portion sizes. The restaurants are on the expensive side, but the quality, service, and views make up for it. The rooftop pool and bar offer a pleasant ambience with lovely views, especially in the evenings.The central location on Marine Drive is one of the hotel’s biggest advantages, making it easy to explore Mumbai. While a few areas of the property could benefit from modernization, it does not take away from the overall experience.Overall, Hotel Marine Plaza is an iconic hotel offering comfort, excellent service, cleanliness, and an unbeatable location. From the rooftop terrace or a balcony-facing room, the sunrise or nighttime skyline panorama is a highlight.Rooms are typically spacious, well-appointed, and air-conditioned, with large windows to enjoy sea-facing vistas. And during busy nights, noise from nearby bars or pubs may reach rooms on lower floors.Overall, Hotel Marine Plaza represents a practical balance of sea-view luxury, strategic location, and decent comfort. I’d recommend it for travellers who want to enjoy Mumbai’s iconic coastline and stay somewhere central and reliable.

The people here are really exceptional. I had lost some valuables without even realising it. But the staff contacted me and made sure that my lost item was returned to me. I was extremely touched by their diligence and warmth. I have been staying here each time I travel to Mumbai, and it's the people who make my choice easy. It's also well located and has good view of the sea.

I have been staying at this property consistently over the past two years. The location is amazing, the property offers sea view rooms that are quite special. It's conveniently placed for anyone who needs to be in this part of town. Each time I visit I come away with good memories, most of all of the people, their warm greetings, help and kindness.
