I want to share a fair and honest review of my stay here. Although this hotel is advertised as a 5-star property, it really functions more like a 2 to 3-star budget hotel. The ambiance is lovely and the place has great potential, but the management, upkeep, and essential amenities do not meet luxury standards. Our experience began on a frustrating note during nighttime check-in. Even though we booked three weeks ahead, we were told there were no towels because the rain had stopped them from drying. Being told to wait until morning is unacceptable when you have fixed plans, as guests can't adjust their schedules due to laundry delays. The room also had comfort problems; a lot of outside light came in all night, making sleep difficult. Some rooms don't have ceiling fans at all, only wall fans, which would be insufficient in hot summer weather. The property's logistics and dining need improvement too. When it rains, water flows heavily beside the sloped footpath, and with bikes and vehicles parked there, reaching the entrance is tough and staff did nothing to assist. The restaurant menu was very limited with many items missing, so grabbing a quick meal was not possible, and the outdoor seating was completely neglected. The hotel is on a service road in a metro construction area, with no convenience stores nearby unless you walk about 800 meters. On the positive side, the hotel's basic cleanliness was good; bedsheets, bathrooms, and floors were spotless. Though the menu was limited, the food served tasted good. The property has a nice look with indoor and outdoor dining areas that could be attractive if well maintained. It's not far from the city center, cabs are easy to find, and the airport is fairly accessible. They also offer a convenient 24-hour checkout and provide water bottles you can refill at the restaurant's RO purifier. This stay was during the off-season, which might explain the lack of maintenance and inventory issues like towels. This place could be a nice budget or mid-range option, but calling it a "5-star" hotel is misleading. Book only if you expect a basic, functional stay.
