One of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel, especially for families.We arrived for a late check-in on 7th August at around 1:30 AM. From the moment we arrived, the experience was terrible. The front-office/reception staff member who handled our check-in was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic hospitality. After travelling and arriving in the middle of the night, we expected at least a respectful and welcoming check-in. Instead, we felt we were treated worse than prisoners.The location also made us feel very unsafe, particularly arriving late at night. I would strongly advise travellers to carefully consider the location before booking.The hotel itself felt extremely old and poorly maintained, with an unpleasant damp/fungus-like smell in many areas. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and certainly nothing close to what we expected from a hotel charging five-star prices.Breakfast was another major disappointment. The quality and overall experience were extremely poor.We paid what we considered five-star hotel prices but did not receive even one-star satisfaction. From the reception experience to the condition of the hotel, location, smell, breakfast, and overall service, the entire stay was extremely disappointing.I rarely write such a negative review, but based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. Please think carefully before booking, particularly if you are travelling with your family or arriving late at night.
The entire property was smelling of pest control. The games room was dirty, the AC not cooling at all. The swimming pool didn’t have any guard. The sides were looking dirty therefore we didn’t go. The path to the beach was full of moss and one of us fell down and got hurt. It is the responsibility of the hotel to maintain the area leading to the beach and also keep the beach clean. The beach was so dirty. Couldn’t even walk. The food was mediocre. Only the staff was polite and apologetic.
