Chandni Chowk Rickshaw Tour

If you heard the amounts foreigners were paying for this tour, you’d probably lose your mind! Land up at Chandni Chowk on Valentines Day(it’s well connected by the Metro, you’re looking for the Chandni Chowk Station on the yellow line), and discover the old world charm of Delhi all over again! Take a rickshaw ride, roam through the Paranthe Wali Gali and Kinari Bazaar, buy her a trinket or two (not too expensive either), visit the religious places and seek blessings together and hog on street food like gluttons!

Cost: Less than INR 500 for two (Metro transportation inclusive)
Time: about 4 hours

New Delhi Museums Tour

There’s something undeniably romantic about Museums, specially the ones in Delhi. Make your picks based on her tastes and interests, but few museums which never fail to excite the ladies are the Doll Museum, the Rail Museum and the National Science Centre! Brush up on your knowledge about these places (internet is free!) and impress her with a trivia here and a fact there!

Follow up with some piping hot bread pakoras and chai available easily, and you just had an awesome day! Small tip: If you’re taking the metro, get off at Noida Sector 18 and take an auto for the remaining 3.5 km.

Hauz Khas Fort

The weather is perfect, and the Hauz Khas Fort has never failed to charm! A lake, a deer park, beautiful greenery and the romance of being in a fort- you could not have asked for a better place to celebrate Valentines Day in Delhi. Wander through the fort, walk by the placid waters of the lake, sit down in a balcony and enjoy the view - the fort comes with ample opportunities for a leisurely time. There’s a small tea stall near the gate, pick up amazing stuffed kulchas there, and a coffee if you please, and there, the food’s taken care of! If taking the metro, get off at Green Park Metro Station and take an auto for INR40.

There’s lots of beautiful flora, mesmerising art sculptures and installations and food stalls to take care of your hunger pangs. Wander through the Garden of Five Senses, explore the various wings to the park, marvel at the beautiful fountains and spend some quiet time together! Nearest Metro Station: Qutub Minar

Amazing plans in Delhi!
For people in or around Gurgaon I'll suggest the Leisure Valley park in sector 29. Free shows every day at 5.30 pm. Just for 0 rupees you can celebrate a romantic afternoon there.
