Suggest a 8 day itinerary for Kerala from Sawantwadi.

Since Kerala, God's Own Country has so much to offer, there are two awesome ways you can do this trip. Read on and find out more:

Itinerary 1 - Beaches, Backwaters and Cultures

The first stop on this one is The city of Thiruvananthpuram. You can get a direct train between Sawantwadi and Thiruvanathpuram, so your travel worries are taken care of.

Once you reach here, you can head onto explore some of the popular attractions of Trivandrum like:

1. Shri Padmanabhaswamy Temple
2. Padmanabhapuram Palace
3. Napier Museum
4. Veli Tourist Village

In the evening, you can move from Thiruvanathpuram to Kovalam, which is a ride of about half an hour. Enjoy a momentous sunset on the Kovalam Beach and stay in Kovalam for the night.

Start your day early and head out to explore the attractions of Kovalam. Here are the places totally worth a visit:

Kochi (Sanif)

Itinerary 2: Plantations and Tea Estates

Don't mistake Kerala for being just the land of Backwaters and seas. It has also got sprawling tea gardens and mist cloaked hill stations to offer. Start your vacation at Kozhikode city to get a taste of sun kissed beaches, verdant jungles, intoxicating spice gardens, revered temples and a rich historic legacy.
