Not worth visiting unless you are in the vicinity and and have absolutely nothing to do. the only thing worth is the sight seeing and the sun going down into the sea. else not recommended.

One of the clean and awesome beach of Mumbai. One suggestion is that if you are with your loved once do not visit it on weekends its too crowded, But on weekdays you can enjoy the privacy. :)

chowpatty is a great place to handout with friends on a weekend. chowpatty's pav bhaji is famous but i find it gross. instead of pav bhaji one should go for punjabi kulfi.i prefer sharma's. bachelorr's is just opposite they make great sandwiches and juice.i prefer club sandwich with choco chip juice...and then there is paanwaalahs...so it has full package... when in mumbai one should go to chowpatty on weekend.

Going to chowpatty has always been fun. It is one of the most famous tourists spot of Mumbai. The beach is quite clean and is good for a walk or even if you want to play with your kids for that matter. There are a lot of stall where you can eat too when you feel hungry and you will get a lot of veg options there. The only issue is that you need to park around 200 m away from the beach and sometimes the parking is full too.

Come for the food, stay away from the water

Perhaps the most famous location in South Mumbai, this is a nice place to hang out with friends and family and have a good evening of frolicking in the sand. It present great views of the business district - Nariman point as well as marine drive and Malabar hill. The food is amazing, especially the pav bhaji and masala milk of various flavours. You will find many many food vendors on one corner of the beach, selling ice creams, paan and various food items. Word of caution, stay away from the water. It is incredibly dirty, filthy and smelly and would probably make you sick. So stick to the beach and enjoy the views and the food instead.

Nice beach to watch the sunset in the crowded Mumbai. Don't expect clean water where you can swim. For that better go to Goa.

One of the busiest beach in Mumbai, famous for Pav bhaji counters. You even get mats to sit by the beach and enjoy a perfect evening sitting by the beach.
