Once you are settled, its time to head to Dr. Graham's Homes and experience the perfect blend of exquisite Scottish architecture and splendid natural beauty. Also referred to as Lava Monastery, it was constructed by the then Dalai Lama in the year 1976. It is perched atop Durpin Hill so it is recommended to spend some time exploring the hill as well.

Deolo Hill could be your next visit after you are back from the monastery. A photographer’s delight, Deolo Hill is the highest peak of Kalimpong. You will be greeted by fresh air and scenic beauty as you make your way to this place. A perfect place to enjoy panoramic view of Kalimpong town, Deolo Hill is great for amazing sunset and sunrise views as well as planning a day’s picnic.
