A string of 36 palm-covered coral islands 300 kms off the coast of Kerala, Lakshadweep is a serene concoction of turquoise lagoons, pristine beaches and clear skies and attracts many overseas tourists every year. These islands are also known as ‘Laccadives’. The islands can be accessed easily through Kerala, as the islands are just located at a distance of 400 kms from the region of Kerala. The Lakshadweep Island is fondly called as the ‘lagoon paradise’ and the whole idea after reaching Lakshadweep is to surrender yourself to the breath-taking views, serene sounds of the tides and admire the mother nature’s gift to this destination.

The best time to visit Lakshadweep is from October to May as a large number of captivating ship holiday packages are also available during this time period.It is advisable that each and every traveller must carry his or her own set of medicines to the Island, as the medicines available are the generic ones and not the top notch brands. Please don’t pick corals as it is a punishable offence here. Also, sunbathing and nude swimming is prohibited in Lakshadweep
