Capital city Delhi is surrounded by many popular places where you can visit. Starting from pilgrimages to enthralling scenic sites and from wildlife hotspots to heritage sites, a few hours drive from Delhi can take you to all these places. Here are some favourites for avid travellers who would like to visit places nearby Delhi:

  • Agra

    211 kms away from Delhi the majestic city of Agra is situated. Homing the reminiscent of the grand Mughal era, Agra nestles marvels like the Taj Mahal, Agra fort and Fatehpur Sikri that are now declared as UNESCO World heritage sites.   • Haridwar

Landour, excellent break. Took the shatabdi to dehradun and the hotel had sent cars to pick us up to get to landour just above mussoorie... excellent property http://www.rokebymanor.com/index.php, beautiful place... serene, very few humans, lots of nature... perfect weekend break, maybe even a little longer ;)
