about chakratirth beach

The popularity of Chakratirth Beach place increases with the legend that surrounds it. It is believed that Lord Krishna killed the demon Jalandhar with his renowned weapon, the Sudarshan Chakra. In honour of this legend, the footprints of Lord Krishna are carved out in stone on a hill, located near the beach. Another interesting element adding to the allure of this beach is the fact that you can walk to the hillock of Bhanslo , through the water, during low tide. Located in the South West region of Diu, it is one of the most sought after beaches due to the availability of the changing rooms. The vast open space lined with gently swaying palm trees will sing lullabies to you as you take a leisurely stroll on the beach, with the fine grains of the sand making you relax almost instantly.

This one is probably the least crowded of all the beaches at Diu. Plus, it's hardly 10 minutes away from the Diu market.
