Etunagaram Wildlife  Sanctuary is a wildlife refuge located near the Warangal town in Andhra Pradesh. It is famed as one of the oldest sanctuaries in the state sheltering many different species of animals, birds and plants. The forest is mostly covered in deciduous teak trees that provide high quality wood. The area is essentially plains with some hilly terrain that settles at an altitude of 200 to 450 meters, where you can find little streams and springs. River Godavari also passes through the sanctuary providing nourishment to the vegetation. The animals that you can spot here includes tiger, spotted deer, black buck, jackals, panther, wolf, chinkara, four horned antelopes and many more. 

To witness the splendid wildlife in their natural habitat one must visit the forest. You can trek through the sanctuary and explore the variety of wildlife found here. Jeep Safari is another way through which you can enjoy the wilderness of the forest reserve at its best. Ideal time to visit here is between October and April.
