Mussoorrie is a hill station near Dehradun, approx. 32 kms away. There are number of buses and trains available between Delhi and Dehradun. Journey takes almost 5-6 hours on a Delhi to Dehradun cab. Lot of Government Buses, run by Uttarakhand Roadways, are available from Dehradun Bus Stand ( Outside Railway Station) at every 30 minutes throughout the day. Cabs are also available outside Dehradun Railway Station.

If you are planning a trip from New Delhi to Mussoorie, you can catch a train to Dehradun and then hop in a Dehradun to Mussoorie cab or a bus from Dehradun-Mussoorie Bus Stand at Prince Chowk where you can easily catch a bus or a taxi which runs at regular intervals. It will hardly take an hour to reach Mussoorie as its approximately just 30 kms away.

If you are driving by your own car, it preferable to take New Delhi- Modi Nagar- Khatauli- Purkaji- Roorkee- Chhutmalpur- Dehradun- Mussoorie route for the good roads and easily available facilities. If you are keen on flying then you can always take flight to Jolly Grant but be sure to plan your trip in advance as there are no regular flights to Jolly Grant. Located at a distance of 60 kms from this airport, you will have to take a taxi to reach Mussoorie.

Once you are in Mussoorie, you can check out our Mussoorie travel guide page to get all the required information.
