I have found a way but may not be helpful for people without IRCTC login. 1) Go To IRCTC official website 2) Login using your credentials, if you don't have one create one it doesn't take long 3) In the right you will find multiple options 4) There will be multiple options in which click on "Booked Ticket History (Old and Mobile App)" 5) Enter the Password again and click on Go. 6) Enter the PNR number and click on History and Wait. 7) Your Ticket will appear below. 8) Select it and click on Print E-Ticket 9) In the printing options either click on Print or Change it to 'Save as PDF' and save it your local system. This is NOT possible having printout of the e-ticket from <irctc.co.in> after even few days of journey, depending on the policy of the IRCTC. Then, need not to be much worried, check your e-mail; this is available there, although format is slightly different, but acceptable in official purpose. Smile !!!

Option showing above is only possible when ticket is booked from particular Account.Question is ticket booked by other person or account you have not received ticket received only sms with PNR no. In this case any possibility to take the ticket print on line ???
Printed ticket is not mandatory for E-tikcket holders. As they can travel on the basis of the sms sent on their Mobile from IRCTC. But in case you want to take a printout of your ticket, you just need to log on to IRCTC and then go to print e-ticket menu option and click on the desired PNR no and then you can take a printout.

Bullshit replies. Question asked is tckiet booked by someone else and PNR with me. How doI log in with someone elses details? Simple answer is you cant. Railway reservation site is a hopelessly BAD and user UNFRIENDLY site. So enjoy
compare it with other travel booking portals and you know how easy they are. IRTC should give their whole system to someone else. They are a confused lot

Dear all, once a railway ticket booking is done, you will instantly receive an sms with all the details of your travel itinerary on the mobile number that you use for making the booking. It is imperative to have an IRCTC login ID for the same. Log in to the IRCTC site. Click on the Booking History option after that.

Your travel itinerary will be displayed. It contains details of train number, travel time, point of destination, point of arrival, PNR number and any other additional information, including terms and conditions of travelling. You can take a print out of this ticket and produce the same while travelling.

If you haven’t made a booking through IRCTC and have your PNR on your phone as an sms, then carry a valid photo ID proof of your own. This could be your Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, etc. This should work fine.

Hi Benazir, If the Reservation is made through the counter, then we are supposed to have an original ticket issued by the counter.
i want to print my ticket but i forgot in which id i made the ticket.
wat to do now tat i forget my id
how i take my ticket print out
yes, the important question is whether &/or how do we take a print out of the ticket from pnr No. No one has written that.
I have same problem and after research, found out that it is not possible to take out print of E Ticket just by PNR no. Your best bet would be get the PNR satus page on indianrailway.gov.in and print the web page and use the same as ticket.

For those who do not have an IRCTC account, type in your PNR status as you normally would to check the status of your reservation, and do one of the following:

1. Use the Print Page option: Go to the menu bar--File>Print. Keyboard shortcut (Ctrl +P)

2. Another (slightly complex) option is to use the Print Screen key on your keyboard. This is typically located next to the scroll lock on the top right side, and maybe labelled as Prnt Scrn, Print Scrn, Prt Scn, Prt Scr, Prt Sc or Pr Sc. This creates an image of the screen you are currently viewing.

Windows user should press (Alt + PrntScr) and then open a "Paint" file and do a Ctrl+V. You should see an image of the current screen. Save this image (bitmap) and print it.
For some other OS, pressing the PrntScr Key will directly save as an image on the hard drive.
Mac users can get the same results using the Cmd+Shift+3 combination.

Note: Duplicate tickets are available from any nearby computerized reservation counter. Charges are applicable.

If you have an IRCTC account, you can simply check your booking history. If not, you can type in the PNR number of your confirmed ticket on indianrailway.gov.in and take a printout of that page.
What if I have already travelled but need printout for claiming refund from office? irctc records are not there, indian railway website says PNR flushed out.
Even if PNR not get flushed out by indianrailway, the site indianrailway.gov.in will give PNR status but will not give the passanger name. It is really not possible to get ticket print-out for claiming purpose if it is booked through ixigo mobile app. This issue need to be addressed.

I found bug in print PNR option of irctc while I was helping ticket for my friend on his PNR.
If you have more than one passanger in ticket and for some reason you did partial cancellation of ticket (cancelled for 1 passanger from that ticket), then pnr status will show the current status but while clicking on print, it generates with the old status of your pnr (the status when you cancelled the ticket for 1 passanger)
Example - you had 3 passanger in ticket and your status was WL 15,16 and 17
Now you cancelled for passanger 16 from that ticket.
After 3-4 days when you see PNR status and it is showing WL 5, Can, 6 for your passangers - BUT when you try to print, it will still show WL 15 and 16

The ITCTC site looks to be one of the most troublesome site, seems to be managed by some crooked dirty vested interest people with all aim to harass users in all respect and to discourage people to book tickets electronically .
5 attempts out of 10, will applear as Invalid credential.
Every 3rd second it says that you are logged out and have to log in again.
printing tickets at a later date are the toughest task like competing for Gold medal in Olympics.
Every second booking, the money will be deducted from your bank account but the booking wil not be done.
on every command, the screen asks for your password, although the screen shows you are logged in and the moment you try to log in, it will say either invalid credentials or the website disappears.
Its not only ridiculous, it is in deed a shame for Indian Railway.
Lastly I would request Hon'able railway minister to try out the site himself as a common man
Cant agree more. Have stopped using it.
