Have been to their sunday buffet lunch.Tthe place was fully crowded as though there was some wedding function going on. They dont serve soup and starters on table and you have to help yourself. The staff are apathic and they are not bothered about who is coming in and going out.The main course are not impressive ( rotis and nan are piled in one basket at one corner).and their desserts suck.Waste of money.Better go for a la carte menu.

great taste of north India in south India.. very pleasant atmosphere.. not a bad taste of south indian dosas and idlis. The steaming hot filter coffee is, however, perfect in the nice South Indian aromatic coffee beans sense.

Minerva Coffee Shop has a pleasant atmosphere with nothing special. I went there few days back with a friend. We had masala dosas and idlis along with hot filter coffee. I find food quite good. Minerva Coffee Shop is a good place to spend some time with friends.

Planned for a breakfast outing with friend and after couple of thoughts and leaving few breakfast buffets behind decided to hit this place. The place indeed seemed bright even in the morning and 'servers' ready to serve were waiting for people to come in. I saw only one more table being occupied. The place looked neat and clean for the start of the day. The sofa seating too was comfortable on its part. Since not very sure asked the 'server' if they serve breakfast buffet and to surprise he replied Yes sir, Breakfast breakfast. :o I mentioned again in Hindi that I am asking about buffet, for which he got confused on what to answer. i asked him to call the person in charge. The captain came and told that their was no buffet served. In the hospitality business at-least the normal languages should be known to communicate except the regional one. Anyways, we got our answer and diverted ourselves on the menu card and decided on a plate of Idli, wada and a masala dosa accompanied by Watermelon juice and lassi. Idli - Was soft and good. Wada - nice and crunchy, the way I like. Tasted nicer with Sambher. Masala Dosa - Nicely done with good masala and proper crunch. A good thing to mention for here is the variety of chutneys they serve - plain sweet coconut, normal coconut, sweet tomato, sour and spicy one etc. Good to taste. :) The water melon juice first served had some rotten smell so we sent it back and got another fresh glass. And lastly the Lassi - let me tell you this was one of the nicest lassi i had in long time. Liked it and would recommend it if you are here. :) On Service and hospitality end, The service was fine - not very quick on everything but yet not delayed while serving. Only thing that disappointed was the communication gap which occurred at the start. Rest all was good. Overall, the place is good to go for with indeed more greens to pay, for what you may feel is very easily available. I would say I didn't have a bad experience and can can go back without thinking. Money Matters - 3/5

I find the ambiance of Minerva Coffee Shop quite simple and plain for me. It is all colorful, but nothing elegant or striking. I went there and had peas mushroom dosa, which was not good at all. The masala dosas is quite nice. The steaming hot filter coffee with hot idlis is a great combination as well. Service was fine, waiters were working efficiently and were polite and friendly too. nice place for an occasional visit. Certainly, a value for money food.
