Cities bearing rough roads and heavy traffic have turned biking into a ‘not-so-possible’ excursion for many adventurous freaks and enthusiasts, yet Delhi has surprisingly made this activity a dream come true. The city's geography and accessibility of few cycling routes not only lets you witness some of the majestic views throughout the journey, but also takes you to another world free from the daily hustle-bustle.

Since, unkept roads and long traffic jams act as a barrier in biking trips, you must start off before sunrise or early morning. Some of the best routes for biking in Delhi include the stretch from India Gate to the ridge starting near Dhaula Kuan. Even the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road is a good route you can consider, with surreal surroundings entertaining you right from the start till the end. If you want to speed-challenge yourself, then you can go for the Greater Noida expressway as well.

Cycling around Chandni Chowk, exploring the lanes and routes of the old city and savouring all the ‘desi’ dishes, including ‘Kachoris’, ‘Paranthas’, ‘Puri-aloo’, ‘Chole-bhature’, is also an experience in itself. If you are a carefree bird, then you can just mindlessly cycle around Lutyens Delhi and engage in an affair with nature, while soaking in the charm of tree-dotted roads.

And, incase you are relating 'Biking' with huge masculine bikes, stay tuned for more!

Thanks, and yes I was referring to huge masculine bikes. :D
