Flights also operate from Agartala, Dibrugarh, Dimapur, Imphal and Silchar to Guwahati. Taxis and coaches take you to the city, which is 25 km away. International travellers can connect to Guwahati through Kolkata and Delhi.
  • By Train
Several trains connecting Guwahati to the rest of India are available. The Rajdhani Express, The Northeast Express and Brahmaputra Mail ply from New Delhi. Kamrup Express and Saraighat Express from Kolkata. Again there is the Dadar Express from Mumbai; Bangalore Express from Bangalore, taking 61 hours to reach.
