There is just no end to the number of reasons for going to Goa. Some of the most important reasons from a tourist's point of view are sightseeing, nightlife and food. Well there's no doubt about it that, Goa is a paradise for sightseeing. Be it North Goa or South Goa, a tourist visiting Goa is bound to be spoilt for choice. Make sure you have these points added in the itinerary of your Goa package.

  • Beaches
    Being a coastal destination, Goa's biggest charm is its beaches. Some of the best ones are Baga, Anjuna, Vagator, Ashvem, Morjim, Palolem, Sinquerim, Dona Paula, Aguada, and Candolim. In fact, this is just scratching the surface. There are scores of other delightful beaches in Goa and every beach has its own brand of charm. For instance, if Anjuna beach is good for its nightlife and fantastic crowd, Baga is terrific for water sports.

  • Nature and Wildlife
    Goa also has a fairly large forest cover, which is crammed full of exotic flora and fauna life. Some of the most prominent ones are Dr Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, Molem Wildlife Sanctuary, and Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. Goa is also home to the mesmerising Dudhsagar Waterfalls (meaning Milky White waterfalls) as well as a number of breathtakingly beautiful trails that are awesome for motor biking and hiking or trekking.

  • Forts
    The heritage from the Portuguese era is at its best in Goa. The forts in Goa are a delightful mix of Portuguese, Mughal and Indian style of architecture. Goa is dotted with a number of such marvellous and majestic forts and monuments. These forts displays the charm of old Goa and are reminiscent of Goa's rich heritage. Some of the most well-known ones are Fort Aguada, Cabo Palace, Terekhol Fort, Reis Magos, Nanus, and Mormugao.

  • Churches and Temples
    With its sizeable Hindu and Christian population, Goa is also the site of some magnificent temples and churches. The must visit churches in Goa include Basilica of Bom Jesus, Convent and Church of St Francis of Assisi, Sé de Santa Catarina, and St Cajetan church. Similarly, some of the most astounding temples are Laxmi Narasimha Temple, Mangueshi Temple, Nagueshi Temple, Mahalsa Temple, and Ramnathi Temple.
