Check out the best 1 Day Trip to Shirdi list to help you unwind the 24 hours of complete peace and spirituality in the best possible way. Shirdi is a divine place and extremely popular for Shirdi Sai Baba as it is here he lived for decades before attaining the Samadhi. Shirdi is the abode of Sai Baba, one of the greatest and the most revered saints of India. Everyday Shirdi is visited by thousands of Sai Baba believers.

So, start your day early and by early I mean 4 am in the morning and head to Samadhi Mandir for the most important and acclaimed “Kakad Aarti”. You can easily buy an Aarti Pass that will just cost you INR 500 and be present in the lane that is really near to the Sai Baba’s samadhi. The Aarti will end around 6 AM and you will be out of the Mandir complex around 6:30 AM. After the spiritually enlightening Aarti and Sai Baba Darshan that you will attain obviously after the Aarti, head for Dwarakamayi and Chavadi. These 2 places have immense importance as it is here where Sai Baba lived for several decades before leaving this World and attaining the ‘Samadhi’. There are other popular attractions in Shirdi which you should definitely visit if you get some spare time on your 1 Day Trip to Shirdi.

After you are done with the darshan of all these 3 important places, it would be somewhere around 8 AM-8:30 AM. You can head to some of the famous restaurants in Shirdi and grab some good filling breakfast. There are several local street food hawkers and stalls selling ‘Vada Pav’ which is extremely delicious and spicy. There is also really famous Sher-e-Punjab Restaurant just 2 minutes away from the Samadhi Mandir in the recently opened mall. The restaurant looks like a different version of Pind Balluchi but with reasonable prices and here you can dig into a hot plate of ‘Chole Bhature’ or simply the Stuffed tandoori Paranthas with curd and pickle. This would make your 1 Day Tour to Shirdi a gastronomically pleasing one!

After you have satiated your hunger and have a filled stomach, you can head to Shani Shingnapur which is one of the famous temples in and around Shirdi. Just hire a private taxi (INR 800-1000) or sit in the shared taxis (INR 50-70 per person) that will take you to Shani Shingnapur in about 2 hours or so. This is an immensely important temple of Lord Shanidev and people come here from all parts of the country to get rid of the ailing Shani(Saturn Planet). The interesting part of this village is that there are no doors at any shop or house because of the strong belief of people that this sacred village is protected by Lord Shanidev.

After coming back from Shani Shingnapur, its time for some shopping. Yes, you heard me right. There are few things that you should definitely take back home from Shirdi. Sai Satcharitra and Ladoos from the Prasad Counter are one of the famous things to buy in Shirdi. After that, you can attend the Evening Aarti in Samadhi Mandir or just sit anywhere in the whole Sai Mandir Complex and listen to the Aarti from the loudspeakers. This is an enlightening experience while you are on this 1 Day Tour to Shirdi.

At night head for the famous Prasadalaya to grab some good food in dinner. The most interesting part of this place is that it can accommodate 3500 people at the same time and the food is prepared in a modern way using machines for preparing rotis. It also has a really big statue of Sai Baba stirring food in the huge Handi as he used to do when he was alive for his devotees. The other famous restaurants are Woodlands (Multi-Cuisine) and Rajdhani (Gujarati) to have an amazing dining experience.

The last thing on your checklist for your 1 Day Trip to Shirdi is still left. After the Dinner, for the love of desserts, head straight to Naturals Ice Cream Parlor where you can savour natural ingredients ice creams. The ‘Sitaphal Ice-Cream’ which is an Ice Cream made up of Custard Apple, is a must try as its unique and extremely delicious. While having the ice cream, you can also enjoy the Shej Aarti that is the night aarti which can be heard everywhere around the Mandir Complex. Also throughout the day when you are around the Mandir Complex, you can do darshan of Sai Baba from the place named ‘’Mukh-Darshan’’. I think its best to ‘’Call it a night’’ now in this beautiful and divine place. Om Sai Ram!!
