  • Goa

    The party capital of India is about 132 km from Gokarna. This little paradise on earth is a package full of surprises. You can find some brilliant food and drinks on happening beaches in both North and South districts of the place, and an equal number of unexplored, quiet beaches for an astoundingly calm experience. Replete with a rich Portuguese history, the city and people of Goa will welcome you with open arms. Come to Goa for a complete holiday experience, unwind and soothe your senses with a cool drink on a beach bed or be a total party animal at happening beach and club parties. For adventure-freaks looking for an adrenaline rush, there are water-sports and other adventure-sports in plenty.   • Dandeli

    Haven for nature buffs, Dandeli is located about 127 km from Gokarna. Surrounded by dense forests, this small town is bestowed with a plethora of unexplored and uncharted spots. Overlooking the Western Ghats, this hilly hamlet is fast gaining popularity as a charming tourist destination. Essentially known for its adrenaline pumping water sports, white river rafting is highly recommended in the waters of River Kali.   • Sirsi

    Situated about 72 km from Gokarna, Sirsi is a hill town brimming with natural vigour in the form of dense forests and gushing waterfalls. The cultural dimension of this place is also full of vitality, and can be experienced in their performative arts. Tourists with a sweet tooth will feel utter glee on knowing this: Sirsi is famous for its traditional sweets-
    Kadubu, Holge and Todadevu. A town enveloped in forests, the verdure of Sirsi blows one away into the realms of eternal repose. The culturally diverse stories of South India are conveyed through mediums of song, dance and acting by the Yakshagana artists, which is a form of local entertainment. The place also has awe-inspiring waterfalls in plentiful, such as the Unchall, Shivganga and the Bene Hole Falls.  At a distance of 24kms from Sirsi lies the temple for Madhukeshwara (Lord Shiva) which has been declared as a monument of historical importance by the Archaeological Survey of India. Also worth visiting is the Shasralinga, which is a remote site where stone carvings are erected in a flowing river surrounded by thick green foliage.

 
  • Bhatkal

Bhatkal is about 124 km from Gokarna and it offers you the perfect blend of spiritualism and a fun filled vacation as the place has some adorning beautiful historic temples, pristine beaches and plenty of natural beauty. You will be surely mesmerized by the elegance and beauty of the Kethapayya Narayan temple, which symbolizes the grand  Vijayanagara architecture. Some other attractions are Bhatkal Light House and Bhatkal Beach.
