Ramnagar is a small town in Uttarakhand which doesn’t have any major museums or art galleries per se. The town serves as a gateway to the Jim Corbett National Park and is mostly popular for its wildlife safaris. But if you are keen on glancing through a museum, there is one at Corbett that you might want to take a look at:
- Corbett Museum
Housed in the erstwhile bungalow of Jim Corbett himself, this museum lies burrowed in the calm surroundings of Kaladhungi, 3 km from the National Park. The place showcases his hunting weapons, his personal belongings, sketches, manuscripts and his hunts from the place. Learn the heart touching story of Jim Corbett, who transformed from a hunter to guardian of nature. You can also stroll into the Dhangarhi Souvenir Shop to pick up some handmade rural crafts or a few books on the National Park and the life of Jim Corbett.
