Wildflower Hall, An Oberoi Resort, Shimla

Checked out of Wildflower Hall yesterday and what an amazing experience it was. The property itself, as one can read in many reviews, is spectacular. The rooms are extraordinary and the views unique. There is a Roman style pool indoors, an outdoor pool and jacuzzi with great views as well as a very good gym for this kind of property. The setting is serene and tranquil which gives the hotel a fairy tale feel.BUT, as is always the case, it is the people that make a property a unique in experience and we always want to recognize them. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed by Dinesh. Siransha the Guest Service Mgr was hugely helpful in sorting out a small issue we had with the room under the watchful eye of Vigit and Rahul the Front Office Manager and Acting GM respectively. Siransha seemed to be everywhere and was so helpful. Loki was great at getting things arranged and has a good sense of humor. Gaurav makes a perfect martini in the bar and Dunit, Ankesh and Nikhil were very efficient with room service and in the restaurant.My wife and I travel 7 months of the year and we know the difference. This is an extraordinary property with an extraordinary location and extraordinary staff. A must for travelers seeking a uniquely wonderful experience.

Outstanding experience! Me and my husband visited for a minimoon and must stay what top notch service, food, stay and location, Luxury at it’s peak! The staff is so warm and extremely prompt! I would highly recommend this place for a nice luxurious, romantic, warm getaway.

I went there with my family for lunch, to be honest we went there for good food and the taste and presentation of food was not good at all. They had bad service. They didn't even serve the food. It became cold because we ourselves were serving to each other. They didn't even clean the table when we were done with breakfast and they kept the food for lunch on the uncleaned table, expecting us to use the same plates and cutlery. No doubt, the view was awesome but if the service is not good, then it's not worth it to pay 15k. And we ordered coffee, they served it cold. We ordered fish, it was smelly and uncooked properly. Quantity was so less as if they're charging 500rs for one piece of kebab. Don't waste money on food in this hotel
