Attention passengers! 14 trains extended by Indian Railways

With a view to meet the travel demand, the Indian Railways has recently announced the extension of 14 trains.

Important: Only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains. Railways has also requested all travellers to follow the rules related to COVID-19 during the journey.

Following is the list of special trains that have been extended:

Mumbai–Howrah

To help passengers travel comfortably, the Mumbai–Howrah Duronto Special has been extended by the Central Railway.

> Train no. 02095 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus–Howrah Duronto Special (4 days a week) further extended to run till 30th September.
> Train no. 02096 Howrah–Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Duronto Special (4 days a week) further extended to run till 29th September.

Bandra Terminus–Jabalpur

The Western Railway has extended services of superfast festival special trains between Bandra Terminus and Jabalpur.

Here are the details:

> Train no. 02133 Bandra Terminus–Jabalpur (weekly) will now run till 1st January, 2022.
> Train no. 02134 Jabalpur–Bandra Terminus (weekly) will now run till 31st December, 2021.

Mumbai–Gorakhpur

For the convenience of passengers, the Central Railway has extended train services between Mumbai and Gorakhpur.

> Train no. 05401 Gorakhpur–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (weekly) has extended its operation till 4th August.
> Train no. 05402 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Gorakhpur (weekly) has extended its operation till 6th August.


Bikaner–Kolkata and Ajmer–Sealdah 

The Eastern Railway has decided to extend Bikaner–Kolkata and Ajmer–Sealdah festival special trains.

Details below:

> Train no. 02495 Bikaner–Kolkata special (weekly) will now run till 30th September.
> Train no. 02496 Kolkata–Bikaner special (weekly) will now run till 1st October.

> Train no. 02988 Ajmer–Sealdah special (daily) has extended its operation till 30th September.
> Train no. 02987 Sealdah–Ajmer special (daily) has extended its operation till 1st October.

Pune–Jaipur

The Central Railway has extended train services of Pune–Jaipur bi-weekly special train.

Here are the details:

> Train no. 02939 Pune–Jaipur bi-weekly special running every Wednesday and Sunday has been extended till 29th September.
> Train no. 02940 Jaipur–Pune bi-weekly special running every Tuesday and Saturday has been extended till 28th September.

Malda Town–Anand Vihar

To fulfill the requirements of travellers, the Eastern Railway has announced the extension of the Malda Town–Anand Vihar Summer Special train.
